Reverb Seatpost Service

Regular maintenance of the Reverb seatpost ensures consistent function and extends its service life. Wear on seals and bushings can lead to increased friction, play or oil leakage. The service is carried out according to Sram specifications and using original spare parts.

Basic Service

Scope:

• Replacement of wiper seals and glide bushings
• Cleaning of external components
• Visual inspection for damage and wear
• Lubrication with Fox original grease

Recommended interval: every 6–12 months, depending on use and weather conditions.
Target: restoration of smooth operation and functional reliability within the specified range.

Full Service

Scope:

• All work included in the Basic Service
• Complete disassembly of the seatpost
• Replacement of all seals, bushings and O-rings
• Refilling and bleeding of the hydraulic system
• Function and leakage test according to Fox standards

Recommended interval: every 12–24 months or in case of loss of function, play or leakage.
Target: full restoration of as-new condition in terms of mechanics, hydraulics and operating force.

Processing time may vary depending on spare parts availability and the condition of the seatpost sent in. Please allow several weeks for the complete service process, especially in case of extensive repairs or material procurement.
