Scott Genius TC Shock – Remote Cable Installation Guide


Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Set the handlebar remote lever to “Lockout” position.
2. Secure the remote cable at the lockout lever using a 3mm Allen key. Tighten the cable clamp screw to 3 Nm.
3. Move the remote lever to “Traction Mode.”
4. Secure the cable at the traction mode lever using the cable clamp screw (3mm Allen key, 3 Nm).
5. Switch the remote lever to “All Travel.” Pull the traction mode lever down until the shock reaches full travel.
6. Check all remote lever positions and shock functions to ensure smooth operation.
7. Adjust cable tension if necessary using the tension screw on the remote lever for optimal response.
Tools Needed:
3mm Allen key
Shock pump (up to 300 psi, with special connector to prevent air loss)
Soft, damp cloth for cleaning
Maintenance Tip:
Clean the shock and remote mechanism after off-road rides to prevent wear.
